Our most adventurous tour! This tour features 7-hours of sightseeing Napali Coast and the “Forbidden Island” of Ni'ihau. As we venture across the 17-mile channel towards the island of Ni'ihau, the Captain and Crew will keep you entertained with local stories, fun facts, and legends about the Island.
Start the day with a delicious continental breakfast that includes a variety of fresh tropical fruit, warm cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, hot coffee, tea, and hot cocoa as you take in the sights. Throughout the tour, we will be actively looking for any kind of marine life such as dolphins, sea turtles, and Hawaiian monk seals. We also get to see the humpback whale seasonally from December through March! Ni'ihau is the smallest of Hawaii’s inhabited islands. The island is known by its nickname of the ‘Forbidden Island’ as it is generally off limits to the public and only relatives of the island’s owners and invited guests are allowed to step foot on the land.
Although it is forbidden to land on the Island of Ni’ihau, we can snorkel in the pristine waters surrounding the island, where visibility can occasionally reach 150 feet! This tour offers the best of both worlds - once we’re done exploring Ni’ihau we cross the channel back towards Kaua’i and begin to sightsee Napali Coast. You'll have the opportunity to view sea caves, waterfalls, and the majestic 4,000-foot cliffs of NaPali Coast. At this time, we offer an open bar featuring local Maui Brewing Co. beers and hard seltzer, wine, and our famous Mai Tais. Following our sightseeing along NaPali Coast, we'll provide a deli-style lunch as we sail back to Port Allen.
* WE GUARANTEE DOLPHINS! Blue Dolphin Charters is the ONLY NaPali Coast tour company to offer a guarantee that you will see dolphins on your morning adventure or you will receive another tour on us during your same vacation!
