Just 40 minutes north of the South Kohala resorts, Kohala UTV Adventure invites you on a unique journey through the lush, historically rich lands of Kohala. Known as Kohala Iloko (“Inner Kohala”), this region was once home to a proud and powerful people whose isolation, fertile soil, and abundant waters supported generations destined to rule Hawai‘i.
Your adventure takes you from sea to mountain, across private lands normally off-limits (kapu) to the public. Along the way, you’ll explore murmuring streams, cascading waterfalls, and breathtaking natural wonders while hearing the stories that bring this storied land to life.
